Looking up the ClearAll command or method, it looks like it was intended for Word, Publisher or Powerpoint. It looks like the intent was to clear all the printer formatting. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.11).aspx

I believe the ClearContents is more specific to Excel as ClearAll is an Office VBA type command.

I guess my answer is YES!! use ClearContents instead of ClearAll in your Excel VBA.
