Question Highlighting Duplicate Values within Sheets

I have a set template for 3 sheets. I copy/paste data into all three sheets within the template. Some data are repeated twice within the 3 sheets. How can I highlight the duplicate data between these sheets?

    Thank you in advance.

You can use conditional formatting, though you will have to set up named ranges for the lists that are on different sheets.

    Hope this helps.

I understand conditional formatting for ONE sheet. But how does it work with Multiple Sheets. I highlight Column D > Home Tab: Conditional Formating > New Rule > Format Only Unique or Duplicate Values, but that helps me for ONE sheet only, unless i'm missing something here for Multiple Sheets

Can you attach a sample file, with a description of which columns you want to compare, and I'll take a look at it later on.

I can't apply a sample file with the data but i can supply you with screenshots of what i am trying to achieve. I found someone with the same question and tried the helper's solution but its not working for me. You can see it on the screenshots. Thanks so much for the quick replies too.

I don't understand how you can attach two picture files, but you can't attach an Excel file. The data can be completely made up, as long as it is presented in the same columns and on the same sheet names as those in your real file, so that it is easier for you to apply the solution(s) offered back to your real data.

You've been very vague in your descriptions of your data so far, and I am reluctant to spend a long time just keying some random data into a file to set up an example myself, when it might bear no relation to what you have in reality. I think you will need to use a helper column on each sheet which can look at data in the other sheets, and then you use that helper column as the basis of the CF on each sheet.

    Hope this helps.
