Problem in sort based on date

I have problem in sorting based on date .. Excel does not provide the right sort (?)
The attached file has two dummy examples named (problem 1 & problem 2) ..
In both I click on "Data", sort A to Z but I do not get the right sort ..
I have excel 2010 .. attached is the file .. I appreciate if somebody advice on the reason behind that and how to resolve .. thanks

Hi adelkam,

AM/ PM are sticked to the date and hence making them as text.. give one space between dates and am/pm and then try again.

for example:-
6/12/2013 11:00AM

should be
6/12/2013 11:00 AM
