Paste special problem Excel 2010

I have recently installed Excel 2010. I have a problem when trying to Paste Special, it does not display paste special options. I get only option: Text and Unicode Text.
In addition, I have not ever had Skype on this computer.
I tried to check the boxes in the Options menu, but the problem persists.
I am using now Windows XP, and I did not have this problem while using Excel 2007 on the same computer.

are you not getting window when you use short cut key for paste special (ALT+E+S)?

I have found that happens depending on the source of the copied data. If for example I'm copying from excel to excel I get the full set of options. If I'm copying from Access i get the box with MS Excel 8.0 format, Biff5, HTML, Unicode Text, Text or CSV. If I copied from the internet or some other software program I get the two options text or unicode text. You might want to see if it happens from another excel spreadsheet.

It is when I copy from cells formatted the same from one excel workbook to another excel workbook and I get only option: Text and Unicode Text.

Never encountered that before. Just a guess, under Excel Options - Advanced are your cut, copy and paste boxes all checked?
