find how much data deleted during recovery

is there a way to find out how much of my contents got deleted while repair of file...since the file is a large file i don't remember how much data is there and how much is lost.

The only way I know is to compare it with a previous copy, so all you have to do is to restore from your backup (I am sure that you do take regular backups?)

If you save the file often, perhaps right clicking on the file and selecting Previous Versions will get you back to a very recent version of the document IF a Restore Point has been previously created either manually or by other activity on the computer.

If you don't save often and backup often, you could have a problem.
