Adding a sound to Conditional formatting?? Can it be done?

    Hi,

I'm not the brightest excel wizard and have had much help from firends and forum members in getting my preadsheet to a certain point.

Basically I have a two sheet project

Sheet 2 (titled "Data") is a dump of a barcode number and a status for it.

Sheet 1, (titled "Scan Sheet") a user scans the barcode and it displays the relevant status (sources from sheet 2) and also applie conditional formatting for colors of the status....

What im wanting to do is a play a .wav sound for one of the status' each time it comes up... is this even possible?

i can email a copy of the project if someone thinks they can help.....
