Can't extract images from Excel 2007 Document

I realize this sounds like a rather redundant post as the question has been asked before. Here is my issue. The two ways that I've always used to perform this action are saving as a web page or sending it to a zip file. Well when I save as a web page it defaults to a hyper link rather than showing a folder with supporting files. When I try to zip it only shows an image for the original file with no supporting folders. I"m driving myself crazy trying to figure this one out.

60-plus other people dont seem to be able to make out what you want either?

I am attempting to extract an image from and excel spreadsheet. I realize I'm a newbie but no need to include the portion about 60 plus people not being able to make out what I want. If you do a google search on how to extract images from an office doc, they all tell you to either save the file as a web page which will in theory break out all the supporting files or to save it as a zip which again in theory should do the same thing so that you can isolate the image file. Neither of these options is working for me.

let me take a stab at what your problem is...you want to take a picture of a table or chart in Excel to be available for use in Word, PPT, or email??

i have grown to love the "copy as picture" option...(Paste dropdown > As Picture... > Copy as Picture...) for accomplishing just this...especially with charts!! It keeps the aspect ratio locked and works well with resizing.

I am not attempting to use it in a word doc. I want to isolate the image for manipulation in a photo editing suite.

If you already have an image in excel, have you tried to click on it, then just copy (CTRL C), go to your editing program and press CTRL V?

the copy and paste method won't work. Nor for some reason does dragging it out

I can copy and paste among any office program. Just can't get the image isolated to save as a PNG or JPEG
