Drop down box in Excel 2007

I need to insert a drop down box into my spreadsheet, and depending on the option selected, the formula used to calculate the value into another cell changes. How do I implement this in Excel 2007?

To put this in context, I need a list of acids in cell C3. Depending on the acid selected, the formula used to calculate acid concentration in another cell (D3) changes. I need a way to implement this.

yes search the excel help file for drop down list. Once that is created, put the cell you created the list in, into the formula you have to finish things off.

If you need further help please upload a small sample file. The use of the other formulas are the things that are the funny parts.

I think I can implement the use of different formulas depending on the selected value in the drop down list using the Select Case statement inside VB. Any thoughts?
