auto-filtering

how to autofilter two columns ONLY in excel 2007 .. column "B" & column "D" ??

Not sure how this would work? Could you not apply a filter to lots of columns and then just filter on B and D. I feel that I may be missing something here, so if you could post a sample of what you have and what you want, someone may be able to help.
