strange display of a standard cell- reference

    Dear all,
    Here's a question from a Noob.
I am forced to work with an (old) worksheet, in which I occasionally have to refer to a specific cell. However when I do that, the display where you can insert a function reads: "=[@Column29]" instead of, say, "AB17".

I cannot seem to tackle it. Could it be that the settings accidentally have been altered?

All response is very welcome; many thanks in advance.

    Nice Forum, by the way!

    Kind regards,

    Maarten

the column you referencing is part of Name Range of a Excel Table, that is you why you can see @ sign, if you view in the name manager under formulas ribbon you may find the name range set to this excel table
