Good afternoon all,

Hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

My excel sheet size has gotten out of control, i have been trolling the net and other forums looking for an answer... i gave up and decided to go with what works posting here.

so here is the deal i have a macro file (xlsm) that on the first of the month was 2mb+/-, today its over 5mb it is running VERY slowly and occasionally even crashing. i have deleted all the excess rows and columns, my sheet contains one sheet with about 2000 lines of data (including vlookups) and about 15-20 other sheets with minimal information and a few vlookups. all the files are interconnected to copy pasting to a new file is not really an option. in addition i read in another forum about disabling muti-threaded calculations, i did that as well and it did not help with the speed at all

Is there any other way to shrink the size and to get the speed fast again ?

ANY help would be much appreciated!!!!!
