Can a customised ribbon be attached to a file so I can email it to another?

    Hi,

I have created a spreadsheet that requires the buttons on a customised tab/ribbon in order to use it.

If this is on my machine where I have customised the ribbon it works fine. However I need to email this spreadsheet to another person - but wanted them also to have my customised ribbon. Is there anyway to do this - or would I have to go and customise their ribbon on their machine?

Hope that makes sense! Many thanks in advance.........

    Dear JessieRit,

You will have to edit your Ribbon using CustomUIEditor. Check the following Microsoft thread : http://microsoft-office-2007-custom-ui-editor.software.informer.com

With this tool, you can edit a workbook's ribbon (using XML coding language) and save this ribbon to the workbook itself (and not on your local computer). This will then allow you to send your workbook to others without loosing the custom ribbon.

    Have fun !
