    Is it possible to have excel alert you when a date expires?

    I have a spreadsheet full of items that have expiry dates, and there's a few things I'd like to do with it.

    I'd like to change cells that contain dates that will expire in 2 weeks to yellow.
    I'd like to change cells that contain dates that have expired to red.

    And, if it's at all possible, have excel send me an alert when any items are due to expire in 2 weeks.

    Any help will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Conditional formatting will highlight your dates...... Assuming the date is in cell A1 then
    = A1>= Today()-14 ....... would be your yellow highlight
    =A1>=Today() ..............would be red
    Elegant Simplicity............. Not Always
