Hi there,
This one is tricky. I've already inquired the forum and no similar case was found.
I have an excel sheet where a small textual reference should be added next to a list based on diverse input. Occasionally, a twin text appears within reference sentences within the cell in question.
Example of cell content:
Company Insurance insurance contract finalized.
Andy Jefferson conducted supplier research research. Extra information needed from supplier research.
In this case, a twin text separated by a space is appearing due to automatic filling. Obviously, I need one of those identical words to be removed automatically. However, I don't want to remove all similar words/values from cell. Only those which come after an identical value, whether completely identical or have capital/small letters difference.
The formula/macro I need should do the following:
1- Search an entire cell for any two identical values separated by a space.
2- remove space+second identical value. However, keeping other similar text values in cell if there is any - as long as they don't have a twin value of their own
3- Do same exercise with all other "twins" of different values within same cell, if there is any
I'd really appreciate help with this one
Thanks in advance.
