wants to learn how to autoscroll? excel 2010

Hope someone can help. Half my problem is I don't know the proper terminoligy. I'm building formulas to calculate for muliple variables. For example, lets say for simplicity I want build a chart for a 2* table up to 1000. In cell A1 I type In 1 in A2 I type 2. Now I box them and manualy scoll them down until I reacch A1000. I do the same when dragging down the final calculation. My question is can I accomplish this automaticly with a push of a button without having to hold the scroll down for what seems like way too long (waist of time). I don't know the proper term to use for this (auto scrolling?) I'm under the impression this can be done with logic, which I have yet to learn. can excel 2010 do this? Any knowledgable help would be greatly apreciated. Thank you.

Take a look at using on the Home tab, Fill, Series.

In your case, enter 1 in A1, select A1 and click on Fill, Series, Select Columns, enter 1000 in the Stop Value and click OK.

Hi Todd and welcome to the forum,

    Look at http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=...=0&FORM=NVPFVR

for a video on what I think you need to learn. If you put a number in cell A1000 and double click on the autofill handle of the cell above it, it will do what I think you want.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
