Unable to paste in Excel

Good Morning All,

Recently my system is upgraded to windows 7 from XP. Office 2010 is installed, there problem starts. I'm not able to paste the data in excel 2010 from Remote servers, (i.e. my work is monitoring the servers based in UK and generated reports for servers. I have to run reports and extract need to copied in my local PC. Reports contains around 5000+ events. I can not able to copy that to my excel in local pc). I can able to do same in other work PC which runs on XP and office 2007, only problem in office 10. can anyone please give some suggestion on this.

Do you by any chance still have Skype installed with the Click and Call add-in?
If so uninstall this addin and reinstall the new version

Hi Pepe,

Thanks for you quick response. Skype is not installed in my PC. somewhere I read, I-Browser will also do some tricky things so given a try in that way, closing all the browsers and try to paste date to excel but no luck.

hi,
would you submit some detail error message description text when you paste data from remote server ? ( remote desktop ?)
maybe should enable clipboard access right in your remote desktop connection option settings ?

Hi There,

Unfortunately, Excel is not throwing any error. whenever I copy data from RD, and trying to copy in excel (Local) it will compile for some time and then nothing, it will remain as a new opened excel file. no Error. however I have checked the Clipboard access on Remote Desktop setting, the option is enabled. just to update it not only give problem whenever I am copying date from Remote desktop, its giving problem when ever I am trying to copy large amount of data (5000+ rows) from local pc as well or local network.. I've attached the snapshot of clipboard setting of RDP.
