I have a range of cells that, when ever I try to click on, bring up the AutoShape rectangle.
I don't know how I managed to turn this off, but I'd love to know how to turn it off.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hope this pictures looks as good to you as it does here. The while area should also have entries and color coding, but it goes away and make the slanted rectangle anytime I try to click on one of these cells. I can access a cell by going into an unaffected cell and then using the arrow keys, but what a hassle.
Thanks so much for responding. I hope you have an answer for me.

try hitting F5 > Special - Objects - OK.
Then Delete.
That didn't work, but I made it smaller, moved it to an area I don't use and deleted.
Thanks for the idea that inspired my idea!
