Link two tables on two separate sheets

Is there a way to link two separate tables to update each other. I have two sheets, each with a table. Table 1 contains a list of all projects and contains a lot of information. Table 2 is a tracking sheet of project page status for the same projects.

I want the list of projects from table 1 to match and update table 2 when new projects are added (columns A and B) to table 1, i would like to avoid adding the new project in two places. I have tried a few formulas but the information doesn't sort correctly in table 2 when a fomula is used.

I don't want to merge the tables because i don't want to cloud the information in table 1 with a tracking system.
