How to place decimal points in specific places to a large number.

Hi guys....

I hope this is a simple problem

I have a column with numbers

For example

Column A
3062000001
3062004892
3062004585
3062009587
3062005248

I have the column formatted as "general"

Now.....I need those numbers to be displayed like this

3.06200.0001
3.06200.4892
3.06200.4585
3.06200.9587
3.06200.5248

Anybody knows how I can do that ???

Hi,

Use the custom format

0\.#0000\.0000

I knew it was easy for you guys
Thanks Nawas, works like a charm !

To Richard Buttrey, thank for your reply
But apparently my excel does not have that format ( or at least I'm not seeing it. ) And I've tried all the options in the custom format.

Richard's format is a custom format...you make it yourself under custom formats

Right-click, select format/select custom, above all the formats, is a bar to enter formats in - it will probably say general....either copy Richard's format, or re-type it
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
