    Text mode in CSV format

    hi all,
    I've the following CSV file:

    FILED1;HEX;4010
    FIELD2;HEX;2A
    FIELD3;HEX;2B

I want that when open this file with Excel 2010, all the value must be formatted as text (not numeric). I try to use the char "'" before the vallue but is not correctly.
    Is it possible ?

    Thanks

Re: Text mode in CSV format

    Hi stnf74

Having opened the csv file, right click the column containing the cells to be made into text. Select "Format Cells" and choose Text.

This will convert all numbers to text.

    Regards
    Alastair
