    Thumbs up Display Blank Fields As Blanks

    This is my first post. I will learn how to search this forum much quicker in the future. Right now I need a solution and could not find it.

    I have two worksheets. I copied a range from one to the other using the Paste Link function. One of the fields is a date field. On the second worksheet, the blank fields show up with a date of 1/0/00. In the formula bar at the top it shows the correct linked field. How do I get it to be blank, if it is blank on the first worksheet?

    Thank you.

    hi arturo5, welcome to the forum. i'm guessing you want it in m/d/y? right-click & format those cells -> Custom:
    m/d/yy;;

    Thanks. I formatted the cells for Date. The problem is that if it is supposed to be blank, it shows the date 1/0/00. I need it to be blank if the field is blank on the first worksheet.

    I did not see your attached file. I opened it and found your example and it solved the problem.

    Thanks again.
