    Cell Formatting

    Hi,

    Can anyone help?

I'd like to format a row of cells in a certain colour based on the value of one particular cell. EG: Highlight cells A2, B2, C2, D2 and E2 based on a particular value in C2

I'm scratching my head a lot on this one

    Any help is much appreciated

    Hi Rob,

You need to use conditional formatting. On the 'Home' Tab on the ribbon click on 'Conditional Foratting' tehn 'New Rule'

Select 'use formula to determine which cells to format', now type in a basic if statement referencing cell C2 then select the colour that you want to highlight it with.

You can put in several rules to have different colours depending upon what you want, e.g. red, amber green
