Excel File is Empty, However Size is 5 MB?

Hi - I was using a Excel File which had lot of formulas in it. At one stage the File size was 70 MB. I moved all the sheets to a New Workbook and the size came down to 1.04 MB. I had not moved one sheet and i saved that sheet also to a different work book and deleted all the data/values it it and its showing me as 5 MB.

What would be the reason for it?

    Have a great day!!

    Hi

You may have deleted all the data, but there might still be formatting in some of the cells/sheets. Also there bay still be formulas somewhere that you cant/didnt see?

try pressing end/home and see where the cursor ends up

Alternatively, select all sheets and then press Ctrl + A which selects all data. Then right click and select Delete. Then save the file.

Notice the change in file size.
