Create a list of weekend dates that also include a reference list

Looking to populate, say, range A1:A1000 with a formula (or set of formulas) like the following:

A1 is the next “weekend day” (a Saturday or Sunday) or “HARD DAYS OFF” after a dynamic today (e.g., “now()” or anything else will work)
A2 is the next “weekend day” or “HARD DAYS OFF” day AFTER A1
    A3 “ “ “ “ “ “ “ “ " " " A2
and so on through to A1000...

    NOTE:
DATE FORMAT THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE RANGE ABOVE IS ‘mm/dd/yyyy’

A “HARD DAYS OFF” LOOKUP TABLE IS REFERENCED BY A1:A1000 ABOVE, IN B1:B25 listing “HARD DAYS OFF”:
    Populate B1 as 01/01
    Populate B2 as 07/04
    Populate B3 as 12/25
B4:B25 to be populated later by the user...

    THANKS GUYS!
    J
