autofilter copying more than visable cells

Hi All,

I have an issue, excel 2007, when i copy rows from a filtered range it works fine and only copies the visable cells, but on my other PC it copies all data between those selected rows aswell...

Any reason for this? theres no VBA involved .. is there a setting in options im overlooking?

dont know without having a look into it

but you can bypass it with

highlight rows
press f5
click special
select visible cells only

i know how to get round it by selecting visible cells only, however i want to set it to default.. as this should be the case with execl 2007 and is for every pc at work except my other one for some reason... exactly the same specs so im not sure whats happened - thinking maybe there is a button in options somewhere but i was unable to find it.

seems like a excel 2007 issue

By default, Excel copies hidden or filtered cells in addition to visible cell
