How do I safely upload an excel worksheet to my website?

Hello,

Title says it all. By safely I mean the following:

I have hidden worksheets that I want to remain hidden
I want my formulas to remain hidden
I only want a few amount of cells to be edit-able

The idea is to upload an Excel workbook onto my website that other users can have access to, interact with, but not change.

Thanks,

Jona

The security on excel is far from fool-proof. Any-one that really knows what they are doing will be able to get past whatever security measures you put in place. I would suggest that you upload a simplified/down-scaled version of your file that doesnt have all those hidden sheets/formulas, if thats possible
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Well, I'm not sure if it's possible.

Something on sheet (the sheet I'll show) is completely dependent on what's going on in the other sheets... So is it possible to have the other sheets in some sort of cloud, and then have the visible sheets reference that cloud..? Is that how it's done?

You don't have an Excel workbook on a website, the users would need to download the workbook to use it.

And if I cannot allow them to download the whole workbook for privacy reasons?

My basic question is: Is there no way for me to share the functional, interactivity of one of my worksheets online, in a safe way?

Thanks for your help so far

I've currently been experimenting with the excel web app that allows you to embed your worksheet on your website. It's bonk but that's the best that is currently avail. You need skydrive to work it.

Cheers,
