please define what you mean by?74cm, 80cm so on
i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

i need simply number and letters sequence.. eg.. 74cm (a1), 80cm (a2), 86cm (a3) and if i drag autofill i want to create 92cm on (a4) 98cm on (a5) and so on... can you help me please... is there a formula or i have to format
enter the mumbers as you want them, then custom format them using 0 "cm" you can then just drag down to fill your sequence
hi tantan, welcome to the forum. you can try this in A1:
=74+(ROW()-1)*6
then format like what FDibbins recommended
or if you don't mind it in Text form, then:
=74+(ROW()-1)*6&" cm"
Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.
If you're satisfied with the answer, click Thread Tools above your first post, select "Mark your thread as Solved".
