Excel 2003 Save File so it is viewable without data link. (Standalone)

Hi guys I think the title is self explanatory, but I'll go into more detail.

I have a sheet full of data, which feeds a month-end report sheet. I would like to save the Month-end report as a new file without linking all the data. Basically a verbose copy without formulas, etc, so it is viewable on any computer.

Sounds like you need to make a copy of the sheet, select all the data on the copied worksheet, copy the data, and paste special | values (without moving the cursor)

Well I'm not sure if Macros are what I'm looking for. I know I can print to file as a TIF, which, you know, sort of gets the job done. I like having a workbook though with separate sheets to flip between, as opposed to individual files.

Right click on the Monthly summary sheet
    Select Move or Copy
In the dialogue box, select new workbook and tick Copy
The sheet will be copied to the new workbook and that new workbook will be active
    Press Ctrl Home
Press Ctrl Shift End to select all the data
Press Ctrl-C to copy all the data
    Right Click
Choose Paste Special and, in the dialogue box, choose Values and click OK
    Save the new workbook

Do whatever you want with it.

You can use the free Bullzip PDF Printer to print the file to a .pdf file

    Regards, TMS
