Talking Allow Users To Edit Ranges (330 Of them???)!

    Hello Everyone!,
I have made a sheet that contains numerous blocks of information (ranges). I only want the end users to be able to input information into certain cells (ranges). The problem is that Allow Users To Edit Ranges only enables me to select up to around 50 cells! This is not good as I have a total of 330 different areas that I want to allow access to. I want everything else to be protected.

Is there any way (perhaps VBA code?) that I am able to allow users to access 330 different ranges with everything else on the sheet remaining protected?

Thank you very much for any help! I am sure there are some Excel geniuses out there that this will be easy for!

    hi Margate

    1. select the entire worksheet first by pressing CTRL + A or click on the box on the left of Column A & on top on row 1. press CTRL + 1 to go to Format Cells. go to the tab "Protection". Uncheck the "Locked". press OK.*

    2. now select only those you want to lock (i.e. the 330 cells). again, CTRL + 1 & go to the tab "Protection". Check back the "Locked".*

    3. Now, right-click the Sheet & Protect Sheet. only those you did in Step 2 will be locked

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.
