I have a workbook that is protected. I've allowed users access to unlocked cells, cell formatting and edit objects. However, once protected, you cannot insert clipart, which I want to enable. You can insert pictures only. Is there a way around this?

When you protect a sheet you are presented with a list of "options", you should familiarize yourself with all of them. Put a check in [x] Edit Objects, that will allow you to insert a picture from files on your computer. It will not enable the "clip art" wizard, so you'll have to have the picture needed locally accessible.

Thx, that's helpful. I'd worked out the 'edit objects' one, just wasn't sure if you could insert clipart or not, you've answered my question.
