Re-sort table without affecting original table?

Is there a way to re-sort a table of data on another worksheet without affecting original table?

Let's see if I can explain this clearly.....

I have an excel table with a list of CD's in my library, including the purchase date. I have the table sorted alphabetically.

I would like to - on a separate worksheet - sort them by purchase date. I know I can copy the data and sort it, but I was wondering if there was a way that it could happen automatically. i.e., if I add a new CD to worksheet 1, worksheet 2 gets updated (and sorted) automatically.

    Any thoughts?

    John

What if you set up 2 sorting schemes on the same data: one by title, the other by purchase date to you can toggle between them.
