    Protect sheets issue

    Hi,

I have 3 sheets in one workbook(unprotected) and i need to have 2 sheets protected and one not protected.
The problem is everytime i reopen the workbook, all the 3 sheets appear as protected, even though i made the Review- protect sheet only for 2 of them.
Please can anyone help me solve this issue?

    Thanks
    Liana

    Re: Protect sheets issue

After unprotecting the one sheet, did you Save the workbook? Try turning off sheet protection then perform a SaveAs to a new file name then close and re-open the newly saved worbook. Does the problem occur with the new workbook?

Is there any VBA code in the workbook? If so, do not enable macros when opening the workbook. If it does have code, possibly worksheet protection is being applied in either the workbook_open or workbook_beforeclose events, or the worksheet_activate event. We will need to see the code if there is any.
