    Help Needed on Conditional Formatting

    Hello,

    I have a little problem.
In the attached excel 1st tab is the raw data, 2nd tab is where i am trying to pull the data.

In the 2nd tab, i want to calcuate the number of counts(#) for GCP, Non Complex and Complex ie.H3, I3, J3
Also want to calculate the average (CST). Average is calculated on basis of Total counts divided number of counts. E3, F3, G3

    Thanks in advance,
    Arnab

    Hi arnab,

    welcome to the forum.

    For
In the 2nd tab, i want to calcuate the number of counts(#) for GCP, Non Complex and Complex ie.H3, I3, J3
    , use countif function.
and for CST average, I am not sure which columns to be considered but you can use AverageIF function here. Thanks.

Re: Help Needed on Conditional Formatting

    Hi Dilip,

Many thanks for reverting on the thread.
I have tried Countif but not success beacuse the data in H3 should be based on "Assignment type" column where the value should be Complex and under H3 we should have the counts of the question q3_6.

Hope you got what i am trying to say.
It would be really helpful if you can suggest any macro for the same.

    Thanks,
    Arnab
