Copy and Paste Special in filter mode excel 2010?

Hi guys, does everyone know how to copy and paste value while the filter is on. I read couple online answer and they seemed recommend to use Special and select visible cells only. I guess that only works for excel 2007, and won't work in excel 2010. Is there any recommendation?

    Hi,

I assume you mean the syntax for a VBA macro. And there's no difference beetween 2003, 2007 or 2010. So in general

I copy and paste the same range because I want to take out the formula in the cell and appear number only. While the filter is on, you can only copy and can not paste special. Excel warned that " That command cannot be used on multiple selections". If anyone knows instead of using copy and paste value again to delete the formula in a cell, would there be a way to do differently?

    Hi,

Your original post talked about wanting to copy and paste while the filter is on. You're now asking about deleting formulas. These two are completely different. Precisely what is it you ARE trying to do?

I suggest you upload your workbook and add some notes saying exactly what you want to achieve with reference to specific cells/ranges & sheets. Maybe then we can help you.

Try to copy and paste C3:C7 and paste it exactly in C3:C7. Leave the filter on as it supposed to be. I use macro code above for this and it won't work. If you go to special, click on visible cells only, and paste it. It did not work as well. Book21.xlsm
