Issues With Data Validation using a Table (Named Range)

Hi,

I am having issues with my Excel (I had issue with 2007 and so upgraded to 2013 and have the same problem) and would like some thoughts/help.

Lets say I create a table: INSERT -> TABLE

Then I put values 1,2,3 in the table.

By default it is called Table1. I then go to a cell and click DATA ->DATA VALIDATION->List & input the formula =Table1. I get an error which should not appear.

Attached in a screenshot of what I input and error. Clearly the named range is recognised by excel but I still get an error.

When I opened name manager I saw what you had done. Such a simple solution
