Hi,
Is there any way that I can stop people typing into certain cells? I want them to be able to enter data into specific cells only, which will then change the inputs to the formulae and hence the outputs in the locked cells.
How can i lock these cells to stop people ruining the formulae !?

hi yamaha333, welcome to the forum. try these steps
1. select the entire worksheet first by pressing CTRL + A or click on the box on the left of Column A & on top on row 1. press CTRL + 1 to go to Format Cells. go to the tab "Protection". Uncheck the "Locked". press OK.*
2. now select only those you want to lock (i.e. those with formulas). again, CTRL + 1 & go to the tab "Protection". Check back the "Locked".*
3. Now, right-click the Sheet & Protect Sheet. only those you did in Step 2 will be locked

By default cells are formatted as locked and worksheet protection is set to off
Using your mouse, you can select the cells you want users to have access to and format them as unlocked (Home/Cells/Format/Protection/Lock Cell)
Now protect the sheet with or without a password(Home/Cells/Format/Protection/Protect Sheet)
Now the users can only modify cells you want them to be able to change
