Need to create a drop down menu for a cell that allows selection of 1 of the 5 to 10 alternatives by clicking on an item in the drop down. Have seen this done by attaching a down arrow button to the cell.
What is this feature called, and how do I go about setting this up?

Hi cheiss,
What you're looking for is called Data Validation - go to Data on the ribbon, click on Data Validation, then under Allow, select (from the dropdown!) "List". You can have your list ready beforehand, and reference it in the Source box, or you can (if it's simple/convenient) just type in the choices in the Source box, separated by a comma. I'd recommend you make out a list, though - for one thing, it's easier to change.
