Excel 2007 filter issue (one row not sorted)

    Hi all,

    Can anyone help me out.

I have 199 rows of data all similar. When I apply a filter to the sheet and sort ANY column row 199 does not get included in the sort.

The row number is not showing in blue to indicate it has not been taken into consideration for the filter...any ideas?

    Thanks

When custom sorting A-Z the date is able to be sorted. In auto filter I no longer see the check box to "include blanks" anymore. Its as if the data stops one row before the problem row

Hi LTM and welcome to the forum

When you apply a filter, if you do not specify a range, excel will create the range - down to the 1st blank cell in the 1st column.

Is it possible that when you applied the filter, you had a blank row above 199?

If to, remove the filter, then either delete the row and re-apply the filter, or highlight the entire range than then re-apply the filter
