    Using Conditional formatting

In cell f2, I have the value: =d2/e2 (which gives a %) I formatted this cell as a number with 1 decimal place (0.0). I then tried to conditional format it using: Does not = 13.9 and turn the cell a color if it does not equal 13.9 and what happens is all the cells turn that color despite being equal to 13.9. What is the reason for this?

    Re: Using Conditional formatting

Formatting only changes appearance and not the underlying value.

    Change formula in F2 to
    =ROUND(D2/E2,1)
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
    Say thanks, Click *
