    how to avoid duplicate entry in excel from list entries

    Hi Colleagues

    I have the drop down list in first column from second sheet to select the value but I don’t want to select the same value twice. How can I avoid the duplication selection. I don’t want to use VB code etc. as I am basic user of excel. Sheet is attached for your reference.

    As you have already used data validation best to use conditional formatting to highlight duplicates.
