I have a drop down list. When I choose something from the list, it creates a description (text) in the next cell. I need to be able to copy/paste the text from the cell, but it will only let me choose the formula instead. Any ideas??

Copy the cell normally, select where you want it to go, then Edit > Paste Special, tick Values
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
Is not that simple, i copy data from website (with macro and web query), and formats as scores (0-1, 2-0, etc) is stored by excel as DATE format. When i copy/paste as value, show a number like 40906. All i want is to have score copy corectly from that website through web query.![]()
Maybe..
Copy --Paste special -- values--then paste special -- formats
Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
