    Post Last Saving Date & Time

    Hi
    I would like to update "Last Saving Date & Time " in my Excel template "Column - A1"

    Can you help me to get this done?

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    copy this code, go to your workbook, press Alt + F11, double click on the workbook (This workbook) and paste code on right window. Thanks.

    Okay Jagan.. let me try to describe :-

    You must be having a excel workbook where you want the last save date & time to appear in a1, as thats the question you asked
    lets call that workbook "007JamesBond.xlsx"

    so.. consider 007JamesBond.xlsx as "your workbook" and follow below steps

    copy this code, go to your workbook, press Alt + F11, double click on the workbook (This workbook) and paste code on right window
    Okay.. little more explanatory

    copy code provided by me in post #2
    go to 007jamesbond.xlsx
    press alt+ F11
    You'll see one new window
    left side of that window must be having a section "VBA Project(007JamesBond.xlsx"
    Expand this section, if not already expanded
    there you'll find "ThisWorkbook"
    Double click on that
    You'll find a refreshed blank (white) window on right side
    paste this code there
    done

    Now try closing 007jamesbond.xlsx and you'll notice that current date and time gets printed in A1
