Hi Guys, I have been looking around the internet and within this forum; i have tried a few things, but havent found anything that has worked for me yet! I am hoping there is an excel genius in the forum that might be able to help me out!
I have text strings, all in column A (e.g. A1, A2, A3 and so on), in the following format:
Name (Street, Post-Code)
Actual Examples:
Acorn Inn, The (Winson Green Road, B18 4AW)
Actress & Bishop (36 Ludgate Hill, B3 1EH)
Adam & Eve, The (Bradford Street, B12 0JD)
Adderley Park, The (168 Adderley Road, B8 1EH)
Albion Vaults, The (Cato Street North, B7 5AP)
All Bar One (43 Newhall Street, B3 3NY)
All Bar One (Brindley Place, B1 2HL)
Can anyone come up with a formula which would separate the name, street and post-code into separate columns? I thought it may be possible as the name is outside the brackets, and inside the brackets, the street and post-codes are separated by a comma and space.
I have thousands to separate, it would take me forever manually!! please help!! Thanks in advance!!
