If i had a template in excell would it be possible when it was opened it could generate a new number for the sheet in a cell for Ref ID.

Yes it was solved by a friend in the office after i sent it sorry. I posted the solution in my next post with additional add ins which has been replied to. I marked it as solved and then tried to add the solution but it would not go in. Is it because it was marked solved that i could not post the solution
Even after marking it solved, you should be able to post the solution.
