I am creating a pricing template and I want inventory items and associated information, (description, price, model#) from another sheet to auto populate the template when I start to type the item name.
I am creating a pricing template and I want inventory items and associated information, (description, price, model#) from another sheet to auto populate the template when I start to type the item name.
You would use a VLOOKUP formula in your secondary cells to lookup the value typed into the primary cell in your database. The VLOOKUP will bring back data from the matched row. Press F1 and readup on VLOOKUP.
