    Decimal Problem

I have the numbers below in a spreadsheet. The top three are entered on the keyboard to two places. Cents. The bottom row is a total of the top three. The problem is i keep getting a '1' in the tenth decimal place when everything past two decimal places should be a zero. Is this a bug in Excel? What am i missing? I've attached the workbook.

It's not a bug. Please read this article by MS which also contains suggestions for solving the problem

    Re: Decimal Problem

Wow!! In all my years I've never encountered this. Must just be specific numbers that drive this error. I would never have found it if I wasn't comparing cells using conditional formating to be identical. Could not figure out why I wasn't balancing. I knew I had a problem when I duplicated it on another computer.

    Thanks for the info.
