Hello guys, I'm new on here but I've read great things about this forum. I would like to see if you guys could help me out. I am trying to come up with a formula (vlookup) that will look up a upc and that every upc it finds that matches,(this is where I get lost) it should add up the unit sales and dollar sales and give me a final amount. I hope you all understand what I'm trying to say, I've been at it all day and can't seem to figure it out. Thank you in advance!

Also, I can't seem to find a way to add on the spreadsheet so everyone can see what I'm working with, if you know how, please tell me.

In the end, I would like to have the totals of the 52 week and 4 week dollar sales and units sales but under 1 upc, as you can see in the workbook, there is a upc for 4 week and 52 week, so I need a formula that will find any duplicate upc's and at the same time add the dollars and units to be able to just have 1 upc/product/dollars/units and the last two taps I would just have 52 week and 4 week, please let me know if you guys understand this, I get lost my self sometimes lol

On the bottom of the "Quick Reply" box on the right there are 3 buttons:

Your initial post is slightly confusing. Also as I look through this, I notice there are doubles of UPC's. Tell me if this is right:

For every UPC entered by a user you want to return the sum of (Dollar SalesCurrent)*(Unit SalesCurrent) for all entries matching the entered UPC?

Yes there are double entries of UPC. So what I need is to figure out a formual that will find the UPC's, and add up the sales and units that corespond to each UPC. For example: upc-444444 (I need to find all upc's that match this) then have it add up all sales and units, no need to multiply in this case.

ok,

So because of the duplicates you have, I think its a better idea if you sort the data first with a pivot table. Once thats done then the vlookup can be done no problem.

Hey Scottylanes-- There is definitely more than 1 way to resolve your issue. I have another suggestion. Remove all duplicate upc codes through excel. Paste onto another tab-- then sumif each one to show total. Here you go-- hope this helps too
