    Conditional formatting for -/+ values

    Hello Masters of Excel,
    I would like to format paired numbers, either negative or positive. So, if it's (30,000) or 30,000, I need to identify them.
    Thank you

    Re: Conditional formatting for -/+ values

    hi kisboros, is it possible there are odd numbers, like 3? if you want to highlight them anyway & assuming your data is in A2:A10. highlight them & go to Home -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> Format values where this formula is true:
    =SUMPRODUCT((ABS($A$2:$A$10)=ABS(A2))*($A$2:$A$10<>""))>=2

    Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.
