    Look UP certain values and then combine the rest in to one cell

    Hi,

    Please refer the attached. I need a formual to look up certian value and then inthe following cell I would like to have to have the total of rest of the value for theat specific criteria.


    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    In F2 use this formula and fill down to F4:

    I'm not sure why you are getting a #NUM error. I don't get one. Here is a screenshot of what I see when I open your v2 file: v2-screenshot.jpg

    I have attached your original sheet with my formulas in cells F2:F4 and F5.

    Hi Moo, I am using Excel 2003. I think you can't use entire columns as range references with SUMPRODUCT unless you're using Excel 2007 or later. THat is why I am getting Num# error. Not sure though

    If that is the case, then just change the formulas to:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    and
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    You can change the 1000 to whatever range height you need for your data - but make sure that all of the ranges go to the same exact height, otherwise SUMPRODUCT won't work.
