Hi
We need your assistance.
We are looking at importing a number of products from overseas to package into six packaged items to sell through direct sales on a commission basis plus as retail in an on-line store.
To determine if this is viable we need a calculator that can explore up to 100 single items down and have the ability to choose any of the items into the six areas and on-line store to identify:
- total items per package
- the cost price per item and per package
- markup (ability to adjust rate for the whole table) per item
- commission (ability adjust the rate for the whole table ) per item
- a preferred customer sale rate (20% discount) per item (with the ability to adjust rate)
- recommended retail price 100% per item (for on-line store)
- ability to run specials on the recommended retail price
- profit margin per item following the preferred customer and recommended retail price.
It would also be helpful if all the columns could be totalled either at the top or bottom.
We also have tax to pay (GST) of 15%. We need the ability to identify what the GST amount is in the cost price (we may not necessarily need this as there may not be any tax) as well as what we will need to pay following sale. We take the cost GST off the Sale GST to pay to the Govt the difference. Our company tax rate is 30% if this is needed. Any help here would be appreciated.
We also have to work out a break even point so again any help here would be appreciated.
Also would like to get rid of the #Value error when a product is not chosen and any other things that might be wrong and identify what we might not have thought of as well in the number of calculations we need to do.
Although we have only just joined we have followed the forums and used a number of the formulas to help in the past and respect the knowledge of the group.
I have started an attempt and have loaded this but do not have the ability to attach (have asked admin but no reply yet). I am not precious regarding the spreadsheet so any suggestions are welcomed. Any changes or recommendations/additions appreciated.
